I was lucky enough to get an early copy of this book to review and I am so thankful for the opportunity! 

This book was SO GOOD! Let me start off by saying, you need to make sure you've read the book before this one (Royal Games) otherwise you'll be so sad! This book is actually the last book of the Dating Game Series so I am so sad to see it end, but excited for the next book that will be coming!

This book focuses on Prince Gabriel and Nora and ultimately how much their relationship will be able to withstand. Nora is swept away into a life that she never could've imagined, that little girls dream about being the epitome of a fairy tale, but reality doesn't always end up like fairy tales. There's a lot of responsibility and pressure that comes with being in the public eye and Nora isn't sure if she can handle all that will come with it, even if she loves her Prince.

Prince Gabriel knows that life is about to get way more complicated, for his relationship and himself. He knows that he loves Nora more than anything, but he's not sure she's going to be able to manage this life and becoming King is the only thing he's thought about in years. He has the responsibility of the people of Belmont on his mind, as well as the weight of responsibility on his body. While Gabriel was feeling strong on the road, the reality of life as next in line for the throne has taken a toll on his body and his state of mind.

There were so many moments in this book I was so excited and so convinced this couple could make it through anything. Then there were other moments in this book where the angst was so strong and the heartbreak was so apparent, I had no idea how the story was ultimately going to end.

Overall, this is a story about love and strength and survival and sacrifice. Their love could be one of those loves, a story for the ages, if they can make it through the biggest battle to come!

Hope you'll take a chance on this story, I am so glad I did!

“Is it possible to pull a muscle in your face? Because I’m pretty sure I have.”

“How so?” I ask, stealing a glance at her.

“From smiling all day for the cameras. If this is to become a regular thing, I may have to work face exercises into my workout routine.”

“I can think of a few ways to stretch those face muscles.” I mischievously waggle my brows.

“I bet you can.”

“We’ll start when we get home, if you’d like.”

“Is that right?”

“You’re the one who said your face muscles could use a workout. I’m simply offering my services. Consider me your…personal trainer.”

Her lips pinch together into a tight line. “I wouldn’t want to burden you. Shouldn’t you check with your private secretary first to make sure you have room in your schedule for what I can only assume could be a rather time-consuming task?”

I dip my head toward her, my mouth a breath away from her neck. “I’ll make the time to feel your lips on my c*ck.” I linger there for a beat. I don’t even need to look at her to know her expression is flushed, her breaths coming quicker. Then I pull away, confirming my original suspicions. “I think two hours a day is a good start.” I lean back in the seat, extending my legs as far in front of me as possible and place my hands behind my head, the picture of relaxation. “Feel free to start now.”

“Such an opportunist.”

“Like I said, I’m simply offering to help.”

Jack and Jill series (last book Dawn of Forever) by Jewel E. Ann book review!

 I’m so sad this series is over. I picked up the first book in this series totally by chance and I’m so flipping glad I did. I don’t even remember if I got it because I loved the cover (because every cover in this series is simple yet beautiful) or if someone recommended it. It doesn’t matter anyway. The only thing that really matters is that I am now a big fan of Jewel E. Ann’s writing and will definitely be reading more by her in the future! This story was so unlike anything I’ve read before. I loved the characters. I loved their stories and how they developed through the 3 books. I’ll forever be upset by the devastation that occurred at the end of book 2, but I also understand the importance of it having to happen to make opportunity for something else, but man. I wish it would’ve been able to end differently in some ways but at the same time, think it ended how it should’ve! I’m so glad we got to know more about Jackson in this story. I feel like we touched on him throughout the first couple of books a little bit, but I honestly think I enjoyed his story even more than Jillian’s and that is saying A LOT because I love the completed character of Jillian. She goes through a lot in this book, well, really, her whole life, but most recently this book and it just confirms how much of a survivor she truly is. Anyway, if you haven’t read this series, do yourself a favor and grab it. If you’re anything like me, you’ll inhale the series and be desperate for more but so glad for getting to soak up those words! Can’t wait to read Out of Love soon! ❤️🖤

Let me start by saying I was given the opportunity to read an early copy of this book for an honest review and I am so excited to share my thoughts on it! Thank you to Samantha Young and the Valentine PR firm!

Ahh, where to begin with this book?! There is so much that happens between the pages of this one! 

Samantha Young, author of Here With Me, is a wizard with words. One of the things that I love about her books, that I’ve always loved about her books, is her incredibly descriptive language and her ability to transport me to wherever the setting of the book is. In this story, I feel like I’ve travelled to Ardnoch, the castle/estate, small villages, gorgeous ocean coastlines, and just all over Scotland. Scotland has officially hit the top of my travel bucket list.

I also love the family in Here With Me. I don’t necessarily just mean the Adair family either. I mean the type of family that you choose, plus the blood relatives. All of the Adair siblings pique my interest and I’m excited to read about all of them, but I think Lachlan is going to be hard to beat. I love his role in his family. I hate the burden he’s put on himself because of it, but I love that he loves so fiercely and protectively, when he allows himself to love. 

Robin just seems like a badass. She’s gone through a lot in her adult life and refers to herself as, ‘epic’ a few times throughout the story, and I have to say- I agree! The girl is unstoppable and anyone with eyes can see it. I love that even if she’s scared, she goes after what she wants whether that’s a perp, a relationship with her father, or love. I think anyone would be attracted to her confidence, her courage, and her heart.

This story is intriguing, page turning, and always keeps you guessing. I wavered throughout the book trying to make up in my mind how it was going to end and while some of what I thought was correct was, there was still so much more that played out as a big surprise in the end. I would highly recommend checking this one out!!

Another one done in less than 24 hours! 

There are some authors that you love so much that whatever the plot of their book is, you know you’re going to read it because you just know already you’ll love it. That is the case with my love for Claire Contreras and her writing. There is not one book of hers that I’ve read and have not loved. 

This book, The Heartbreaker, was exactly what I needed in my life right now. I recently finished a pretty heavy, dark book and while there’s a time and place for that and I usually love them, there’s so much darkness in the world right now that it was just incredibly refreshing to read Jagger and Jo’s story. 

It was a light, easy to read, happy (for the most part), fun book to read. There was just enough angst to keep things interesting and the (as usual) incredible character development that makes you feel like you’re a fly on the wall, living in the world of these characters.

 I don’t know if there are plans for this book to be a series, but I hope it ends up being one. I would love to follow Jagger’s brothers and find out how their stories play out. I obviously want to know about Misty, Jo’s sister, too. Both of these families just seem so real and so loving, even if flawed, that you can’t help but want to know more. 

What an enjoyable, pleasant read. Thank you for another wonderful book, Claire! Can’t wait for the next one.
