Oh, how I have been waiting for this book!! Ever since we met Robyn in Here With Me (book 1 in the series) I was so curious about her father, Mac. The wait did not disappoint! First let me say, you don’t have to read the other books in the series first if you really don’t want to, but I HIGHLY recommend it! I loved how this story continues to build with a family that we’ve known and fallen in love with in the other books! The main characters from the other stories continue to develop with their lives while also focusing mostly on this particular couple (Mac and Arro) while also somehow simultaneously building suspense for the other characters who will hopefully be getting books dedicated to them next! Samantha Young has an incredible way of doing all of this and more with these epic love stories she continues to weave. This book, Always You, is such a slow burn that it drives you crazy but also desperately keeps you waiting on pins and needles to see how it all turns out! I love the passion and the love that these two have for each other. I love that Mac is able to own his own stuff and I LOVE the addition of Iona and their talks!! This couple goes through so much, both in their pasts and in their present that you can’t help but root for them and pray they get their happy ending, whatever that looks like for them both. This book was intense, a page turner, a building burn, a star crossed love situation in a lot of ways… just a brilliant book. I loved it. I can’t wait to see what comes next. Oh and I loved the epilogue too! 😍🥰 Now onto sweet dreams of Scotland and the beautiful views described throughout this book!

Which explained her reaction… sort of.

I should prep for the playoffs, but all I wanted to do was convince her I wasn’t enemy number one—and that scoring with me would be her best move.

Review:

What an adorable story! Y’all, I loved this book. It’s a sweet, easy read with characters that you can’t help but love. I’m a huge football fan so I of course loved all the football references and I loved that Reese was a strong feminine female character who knows football better than a lot of guys that play the game! I loved the story line overall of this book and the hard choices both characters had to make. Reese’s grandfather sounds like someone everyone would be lucky to have and the same goes for Alexa who is an incredible friend to Reese. Reese and Trent’s relationship though is incomparable. It was definitely a love at first sight type, at least for me as the reader loving them as a couple!! I am so glad I decided to read this book and hope you will check it out too. Even if you don’t love football, you’ll love Trent and Reese. I can’t freaking wait for Jackson’s book too. Going to add that one to my list right now, so… parting words- buy the book!

Review:

4.5 stars for this amazing story out of Wolf Gap! This book was nonstop with something always keeping me entranced and wanting to know what was going to happen next. I fell in love with Calder in the first story of this series and was so anxious to read his story, and it so did not disappoint!! I loved getting to learn about Calder and the girls’ back story. I hated Jackie more and more as this book unfolds. I loved Hadley more and more as this book unfolds. I knew I was excited for Calder’s story. I didn’t know how much I would end up loving Hadley. She goes through so freaking much in this story, I’m just amazed by her. Strained relationships with her mom. Trust issues with her man. Missing her sibling. Desperately needing freedom but wanting to know she can still be loved by others while loving herself. Gah. This story is one you don’t want to miss. As I said before, the writing kept me locked in to this book and I had to know what was going to happen next, every chapter. We only got a small glimpse of Beckett in this book but I’m already stoked for his and Addie’s story next!! I can’t wait. Thanks for another wonderful story, Catherine Cowles! Fall in love today!

Ahhh!! I knew this book was going to end on a cliff hanger but omg! I need the next (and last 😢) book… like yesterday! Van and Julia’s story continues in book 3 of the Sin series and boy is it a juicy one. This story just made me feel so much more passionately about Julia & Van’s love! It’s made clear through this book especially how much they are meant to be together and how good they are for each other. This whole story kept me waiting for the next shoe to drop and to find out how it was all going to end and now that I know a little more, I am on pins and needles waiting to see how the story concludes!! I read this book QUICKLY and I’ve been in a bit of a reading funk as of late so this pulled me right out of it! Thank you Ms. Romig for another incredible story and please give us the ending we all need for Van and Julia ASAP!! ❤️
