The Secret Love Letters of Olivia Moretti Review and Release Blitz!

The Secret Love Letters of Olivia Moretti by Jennifer Probst is now live!

A secret romance pushes three estranged sisters to the Amalfi Coast to follow clues about their mother's past, and challenges them to a whole new future, from New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Probst.

Sisters Priscilla, Devon, and Bailey haven't been close in years, but when they're forced to come together to settle their mother's estate, they discover a secret none of them knew. In an old trunk, they happen upon ownership papers for a house on the Amalfi Coast, along with a love letter from their mother to an anonymous man, promising to meet him in Italy during the summer of her seventieth year.

Now they're questioning everything they knew about her history. In order to get answers about the woman they thought they knew, they'll have to go back to where it all started. The sisters embark on a trip to the stunning cliffside village of Positano, Italy, to track down the mysterious ex-lover, and figure out who their mother really was.

As Priscilla, Devon, and Bailey unearth the truth, they also experience the magic of Italy, the power of sisterly love, a little unexpected romance, and newfound hope for the future.

Review:

Take me away to Positano, please!! Ahh this book gave me all the feels. I read somewhere it was a mashup of Under the Tuscan Sun and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and that honestly cannot have been a more perfect comparison. This book gave me so much about what I love about both of those two books and so much more. This was a story about love, loss, sacrifice, family, choices, destiny, and just living life to the fullest whatever you decide for that life to look like. There were times in this book I was so frustrated about decisions being made. So sad about the fallout of what may happen and/or what might have been, in multiple aspects! But I also got it. I could feel and empathize with all, scratch that- most of the characters. I understand so many of the paths that were traveled and why. I thought when I started this book I wanted more about Olivia’s story and could care less about her daughters (harsh, I know), but by the end of this story- I knew Olivia’s heart, knew Olivia’s story, but was also so invested in all 3 of her girls’ lives. This story was just… what I needed. It’s not filled with constant escapades in the bedroom or pages that I just skim over, there was so much substance and family and love in this story. It was exactly what I needed right now, and the only thing I’m left with now is an even stronger urge to get back to the Amalfi Coast. If you’ve never been… GO!!! Thank you to the incredibly talented Jennifer Probst and the team at Valentine PR for giving me a chance to read this one early, I fell in love! ❤️ Ciao!

Love in the End Zone by Carina Rose Cover Reveal!

 Release Date: April 6

Pro quarterbacks regularly faced tough linemen intent on knocking them down—but for one hotshot athlete, it was an feisty blonde who stood the best chance of laying him on his back.

I was one of the top quarterbacks in the league, riding high after scoring a lucrative deal with the DC Rockets. Fans adored me, sponsors wanted me, and women, well, they were eager to date me. Except my life revolved around football, not falling in love.

Until I saw her.

I’d just scored the winning touchdown, sending the Rockets into the playoffs and ending the Virginia Thunder’s season. I spiked the ball and basked in the fans’ cheers. I’d done it. But then I took off my helmet and locked eyes with a gorgeous blonde.

She wasn’t cheering. Instead, she stood with her arms crossed, glaring at me. I smirked and winked, hoping to soften her murderous expression. Except it had the opposite effect. Rather than smiling back, she lifted her hand and extended her middle finger before disappearing into the crowd.

That was unexpected.

After my press conference, I couldn’t stop thinking about the woman in the stands. It didn’t help that social media had turned our interaction into a meme, and then I found out that the beauty was none other than Reese Parker, granddaughter of Charles Parker, owner of the Virginia Thunder. Which explained her reaction . . . sort of.

I should be prepping for the playoffs, but all I wanted to do was convince her that I wasn’t enemy number one—and that scoring with me would be her best move.

Broken Crown by Rachel Van Dyken Release Blitz and Review

Broken Crown by Rachel Van Dyken is now live!

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken comes the final standalone in the bestselling Mafia Royals Romances…

Unrequited Love.

Arranged Marriage.

A love triangle for the ages.

A contemporary mafia retelling of King Arthur and the Knights of the round table.

I will do anything for my family, and as the heir to the Campisi Mafia throne, I fall on my sword and do what's expected of me—it wasn't an accident that I was given the name King.

I marry the girl I love—who's already in love with someone else, and because I'm a masochist, I make him her personal bodyguard.

After all, who better to protect the woman I love than the man she loves?

I have seven days after our wedding to own her—body and soul.

Seven days to show her everything I feel.

But tragedy strikes, and I'm forced to take the weight of the mafia crown on my head.

Now I need my Queen by my side.

I don't know who's with me or against me, but I will rule them all with an iron fist and make everyone proud.

As our seven days come to an end, I wonder how I will ever be able to let her go.

"Until it ends," I whisper.

A tear slides down her cheek. "Until it ends."

Amen.

Review:

Y'all. Right after I finished this book, I tried to jot down my thoughts but I just couldn't. So, below was my 'initial' review on Goodreads:

I can’t. I just can’t. I can’t even function right now to write a review about this book. I am lost in my feelings about this book and all the books that have come before it in this literary world I have come to adore. I know it’s not over but it’s over for now and I just… 💔😭❤️. Formal/more detailed review to come soon after I recover from this fiction fangover!

I just had to include this in my 'official' review because it's still how I feel. I'm still slightly speechless. I'm still heartbroken that the best mafia world I've ever read about is over, at least for a little while. I still feel all the emotions I felt right after completing the book (days ago) regarding the high highs of this story and the heartbreaking lows. Man. This one was a good one. I say that about a lot of books, but not a lot of books bring out my emotions so strongly. Rachel has this innate ability to make you fall in love with any and all characters she writes, but especially those belonging to the Eagle Elite family, at least for me. In this story, we got to see some of our favorites that started it all. We also got to see this new generation of mafia babies becoming exactly who they've been raised to be.

This story was about King, Tex's (or excuse me, the Capo's) son. From the OGs of Eagle Elite, I have to admit Tex wasn't my favorite of the guys. I liked him of course, don't get me wrong there. But Nixon's story is what reeled me in. Chase's story broke my freaking heart. Phoenix though... Phoenix won me over. Of course I love Sergio, Andrei, all of them, but you know you have to have a favorite. Phoenix was it for me. Then Junior, his son, rivaled his spot in my heart. King, though... King just...wrecked me. I loved how Rachel wrote his character. He was so freaking honest with his thoughts and feelings. He had hope for something he might never get. He was the most selfless character I've read about in a while. He laid his heart on his dang sleeve while simultaneously being the freaking BOSS of the mafia. Y'all, King is...legendary. He is aptly and appropriately named. He has lived up to his birth rite and then some.

And his Queen. She took some convincing for me initially. How could she not? How could she not immediately love King like he should be loved? But then I really considered the role she was in and I understood. I also understood that it wouldn't take long for her to see what and who King really is and have her eyes opened wide! I had mixed feelings at the beginning about her but by the end... I'm in. She shows who she is, what she can do, and how perfectly she fits in the role she was born to fill as well.

Anyway, I've gone on and on about my love for this mafia family for a while now, I know. I just have to share with you about this incredible story though in hopes that you'll take the time to read it and fall in love like I have. King is a different character than all the others in this series to me. He is unapologetically him, including his worries, fears, insecurities, hopes, dreams, emotions, etc. He's an incredibly well written character and I have loved following his story. I read every word of this story in less than 24 hours which for me speaks to how much I loved it. Thank you to Rachel Van Dyken and Valentine PR for allowing me the chance to read an ARC of this book in exchange of an honest review- I am so thrilled to provide it!

Tatted Stars by Catherine Cowles Release Blitz and Book Review!

“Hayes and Everly, together, are an unstoppable force. This small-town, suspenseful romance was absolutely unputdownable!"
— LJ Shen, USA Today bestselling author

Tattered Stars, an all new beautifully heart wrenching romance and first book in the Tattered & Torn series from bestselling author Catherine Cowles is available now!

Be brave. Just for sixty seconds. Twenty breaths.

One night changed them both forever.

Their lives shattered, beyond repair, with jagged edges and pieces askew.

Now, Everly has a chance to make things right. To bring healing to the place where everything fell apart. But it means facing the family her father almost destroyed, and the boy with the dark eyes—now grown—who still haunts her dreams.

Just one breath away from having your life ripped out from under you.

The last thing Hayes wants is another reminder of all the ways he failed sixteen years ago. When Everly drives back into Wolf Gap, his only mission is to get her to leave. For his family’s sake, and for his own, those demons need to stay buried for good.

But everything about this woman is a surprise, from her spine of steel to the sanctuary she hopes to create with the land her mother left behind. And Hayes is powerless to stay away.

As a careful friendship sparks into something more, someone watches. And they’ll do anything to tear it all apart…

Review:

Every time I go to type something about this book, whether it was a social media post, pulling it up on Goodreads, or even beginning this review, subconsciously I end up writing Tattered Scars. I know the title is Tattered Stars and I love that title for this book, but I think the scars would’ve been appropriate too. Both of our main characters, Everly and Hayes, have some mighty big scars though most of them are invisible. These scars have made such an impact on the people they have become, in good ways and in ways they are trying to grow from. I’m glad that the title is Tattered Stars though because scars would focus on the negatives these characters have endured and they are so, so much more than that! They have pulled themselves through some of the worst things a person could possibly experience and come out on the other side beautiful, strong, incredible people. The visuals I get reading their story in the mountains of Wolf Gap made me visualize the stars there at that little cabin in the woods and I can only imagine how breathtaking it would be. I am familiar with the small town life so I can easily picture so many things the author pointed out about small town living and how difficult it can be to come back from preconceived notions and ideas of someone, not even based on their own actions but actions of their family members. Everly comes back to her small town after escaping for years and has a large battle on her hands to find the peace she so desperately deserves. Hayes is the first to show her his animosity and his uneasiness about the reminders she brings of the worst time in his life. This is a story of Everly’s survival and her battle for peace and that niggling little piece of hope she so desperately tries to hold on to. It’s a story of Hayes working through so many emotions, trauma and family relationships, while feeling this pull that he can’t explain. There’s so much to this story that I can’t even begin to write all about it without giving any spoilers away, so I’ll just end with this. I was invested from page one with these characters. There was the perfect level of suspense to keep me flipping the pages as quickly as I could. The character development of not only Hayes and Everly was incredible, but I fell in love with all (well, mostly all, some… *rage*) the people of Wolf Gap, especially all of Hayes’ family members. The writing of this story was superb and if you’ve read anything by Catherine Cowles before, this book is no different than her others- incredible! I hope you’ll take the time to check this one out. *Thank you to Catherine Cowles and the Social Butterfly PR group for allowing me to read an early copy of this story in exchange of an honest review- I am so happy to provide it!
