Review:

Oh, Van and Julia. I can’t even. What a wild ride. This book was filled with so much! From start to finish, I was so locked in and the pages were flying. I am so sad this series is over. I have loved Van and Julia from the very beginning and their ending in this story was everything I hoped it would be! Of course there were some intense and scary parts but oh so much goodness for this couple, too! There were so many other characters I loved in this series, too. I also loved Vicki and I really started to appreciate Lena in this story as well. Can’t forget Paula.

They were the glue, the trials and tribulations that brought you closer to one another. Anyone can love in the sunshine, Julia. It takes loving in the black of night and under those storm clouds, that’s what makes a marriage strong.”

Omg, I am so in love with Mrs. Mayhand. I love that she could see Julia’s love for Van. So many commented on how they could tell Van loves her (which I freaking love of course), but I love that someone who knows and loves Van and he loves in return can see how much Julia loves him too. Mrs. Mayhand was so sweet, so thoughtful, so loving in this book and all the others but especially this one, it just made my heart happy.

Overall, I just loved this story. I loved this world that Ms. Romig built and I love the characters she created. I’ve read several books by Aleatha and this series is right on par with her usual incredible writing. I can’t wait for the next story!

Meet Aleatha Romig

Aleatha Romig is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author who lives in Indiana, USA. She grew up in Mishawaka, graduated from Indiana University, and is currently living south of Indianapolis. Review:

Ahhh!! I knew this book was going to end on a cliff hanger but omg! I need the next (and last 😢) book… like yesterday! Van and Julia’s story continues in book 3 of the Sin series and boy is it a juicy one. This story just made me feel so much more passionately about Julia & Van’s love! It’s made clear through this book especially how much they are meant to be together and how good they are for each other. This whole story kept me waiting for the next shoe to drop and to find out how it was all going to end and now that I know a little more, I am on pins and needles waiting to see how the story concludes!! I read this book QUICKLY and I’ve been in a bit of a reading funk as of late so this pulled me right out of it! Thank you Ms. Romig for another incredible story and please give us the ending we all need for Van and Julia ASAP!! ❤️

Green Envy by Aleatha Romig Release Blitz and Review!

Review:

Van and Julia’s story continues with Green Envy and it is a continuation I have been anxiously awaiting! Their passion together is undeniable and I love what they do for each other as individuals, as well as a couple. Van isn’t perfect by any means. He has his demons and his sins, probably a multitude of them according to him, but man- he loves Julia fiercely. She knows he makes her better and loves him despite his past and his mistakes. This story is so good. I can’t go into details without spoiling anything and I like this story too much to do that, but I’ll just say this. It’s a story of love, of passion, of redemption, of family drama, of overcoming, of envy, of intrigue and of power. This is another incredible example of Aleatha Romig’s outstanding ability to create a world that you can easily visualize and want to be a part of. Thank you for this story, Aleatha! Now I’m going to need you to hurry and release the next one because… omg!!!

REVIEW:

I went into Red Sin totally blind, not knowing anything about the storyline but only knowing that I am a huge Aleatha Romig fan. This book did not disappoint!!

Red Sin continues that charisma and passion that Romig fans are so familiar with! Van and Julia are fatefully pulled together and their attraction is strong. There is a level of mystery and intrigue throughout the entire book. Who is Van, really? What’s his story? As Julia falls for him more and more, she also (as well as me as the reader) has more and more questions!

While I’m anxious and a little nervous to hear more about Van’s story in the second book in this series, I do love the person Julia has developed into just in the time she’s known and fallen in love with Van! It was an instant, immediate attraction and once she let herself be all in, she grew leaps and bounds in her confidence and understanding her overall self worth. I love a male character that can help a female character develop like that! I’m hoping he doesn’t do something to ruin it in book 2 but we shall see! So far, I really like him in this story. He’s a strong, successful man who’s admitted a lot of his faults to Julia already, but I know he has more he’s going to have to share. Julia wanted a new life and she sure has gotten one!

Going back to speaking of book 2, I’m going to need it to be released…like, tomorrow! I NEED TO KNOW! This book ends with a bit of a cliffhanger and I am waiting with baited breath for the next installment!! I really enjoyed this book- the writing was fantastic, the character develop was great, and I was anxious to keep turning the pages to learn more and more. Can’t wait for Green Envy!
