He Sees You When You’re Sleeping by Alta Hensley review & release blitz!

He Sees You When You're Sleeping by Alta Hensley is now live!

Why choose between naughty or nice in this steamy, suspenseful Christmas-themed stalker romance that’s perfect for dark romance readers seeking a spicy, festive read.

It’s the night before Christmas and I’m alone in the house…

Popular jewelry influencer Chloe Hallman is steeling herself to spend another holiday on her own. Instead, she finds herself drawn to two different guys… a smoldering hot fan of her secret, seductive online persona, and a sexy fireman named Jack who looks out for her in their NYC neighborhood.

She has no idea that I know her better than she knows herself. Her deepest secrets, her darkest desires—she's careful, but I’ve been watching, never leaving footprints in the snow outside her home.

Jack was the first responder to the accident that stole a beautiful young woman's family two Christmases ago, and he's been quietly guarding her ever since. When Jack uncovers Chloe’s secret account, his obsession only grows. Both he and Chloe are drawn to the darkness that mirrors their own.

She’s my Christmas wish come true. And I'm hers. She just doesn’t know it yet.

Will Chloe’s Christmas be a tale of fiery passion...or a dangerous game with a man whose love knows no bounds?

Review:

Wow. What a wild ride that was. I am honestly a little perplexed by my own feelings after reading this book. I will say, this book definitely kept me intrigued. It was one of those books where you may not know how you feel about what’s happening in the book, but you still just absolutely have to find out what’s going to happen next in the next chapter. I’ve never really read a stalker romance and have conflicting feelings about it even now after finishing this one, but I will say this book was so intriguing just to know how it was all going to play out. The end did feel a little anti-climactic for me as I was hoping there would be a little more drama than what occurred but overall this book kept me entertained and needing to know how this story would play out! If you are in the mood for a holiday themed, super spicy stalker/hero romance, look no farther- this is absolutely the book for you! Thank you to Alta & Valentine PR for the opportunity to read and review this book!

From Air by Jewel E. Ann review & release blitz!

Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Jewel E. Ann parachutes into the burning, hazardous heart of love in a sexy yet dramatic romance set in Big Sky country.

When Jamie Andrews moves in with a house full of firefighters, things start heating up fast. Battling the wilderness of rural Montana, these guys are always charging into danger—for a living, for duty, for the rush—and since Jamie is a psychiatric nurse, they fascinate her analytic mind. She can’t help but fixate on Calvin, a grumpy, enigmatic smoke jumper ten years her senior. She makes playfully tormenting him her pet project, trying to get him to open up. It turns out he gives as good as he gets.

When something smoldering between them sparks, they’ll have to keep it quiet, which makes Jamie start to wonder about Calvin’s secret, the one he won’t explain. She’ll learn more after life pulls them apart. But as she follows the truth like a trail of flame into the dark, will it lead her to hearth and home with Calvin…or will it all go up in a blaze?

Review:

All the freaking feels with this book. Calvin and Jaymes made me feel like laughing, crying, smiling and having my heart squeezed and stomped on all at the same time. They are two characters I will not soon be forgetting.

I’m not going to lie, the angst in this book was near constant. I physically felt the pain of these characters and literal tension in my body for them and everything they went through. The constant wondering of if/when they’ll end up together and what it’s going to look like along the way. I also really freaking loved that Fitz was a smoke jumper and she was a travel nurse exploring the country! Their careers fit their characters so well and honestly brought an extra level to this story that I really enjoyed. I also loved all of the side characters as well, but Will especially. I hope he gets a book out of this deal and I wonder if it’ll be Maren!

Anyway, From Air is just another wonderful reminder of how talented an author Jewel E Ann is. I am a big fan of her writing and love how she can always come out with a story so different from any of her other books, but always, always has a way of making the characters so memorable, relatable, enjoyable, etc. I loved the slow burn of this book. I loved Calvin and just wanted to hug him and tell him to let himself be loved. Jaymes is a ray of freaking sunshine and anyone who doesn’t love her must be crazy. Overall, I just loved this book and hope you’ll take the time to check it out too!
